Simple “Turquoise”

In the area where I live, Turquoise is highly regarded by certain communities for their more dressed-up attire. A bit further West from here, it can be seen in more Tribal jewelry and adornments. Turquoise has a rich heritage, but can become expensive quickly. For this reason, most “Turquoise” you see in jewelry, especially bracelets, it what I've come to be seen as “Turquinite”, which is a dyed Magnesite or Howlite. I use Turquinite in my jewelry and label it as such.

This particular piece was put together to show off the Turquinite and the beautiful Matrices encased in the stone. It is surrounded by turquoise and black colored glass beads. It's a great bracelet to wear if you want the look of Turquoise without breaking the bank.

Turquinite does have some properties of it's own. As a blue/green stone, it is great for Peace, Calming, and Tranquility. I highly recommend wearing Turquinite for Depression and Anxiety relief.
