This necklace is made with Abalone inlay wood beads, iridescent seed beads, and regular wood beads strung on to copper wire coated to look silver. It is then strung and secured on to a stainless steel chain and finished with stainless steel findings.

Abalone is a very delicate material because it is so thin. Abalone is made from the shells of snails. To stabilize this beautiful material, it is often used as an inlay on much thicker and stronger items, such as wood or metal.

Abalone has historically been seen as a mineral for Emotional Balance, Tranquility, and acts as a shell of Protection for the wearer against all manner of Negative Energies and Emotions. It is also a mineral known for Beauty, Compassion, and Peace.

This necklace was created using coated copper wire in silver and stainless steel chain and findings. It is approximately 24” in length.
